We have Cadillas a 2 yr old Male English Bulldog, Baby a 5yr old Female Bull Mastiff and Oskino an 8 yr old Female English Bulldog. I have a 15 month old Australian Labradoodle, who’s an absolute sweetheart.
She has taken & passed puppy & beginner’s obedience classes, as well as the Canine Good Citizen class & test. She loves everybody, people & dogs. She’s smart & has learned lots of agility moves, etc, but although she will come perfectly well during training sessions at the SOTC & at the Doggie training facility we use, in CT, she will not come for us, when we need her to to do. We’re concerned, because it’s ultimately a matter of her safety, as well as our sheer frustration.
Because I’ve had to administer ear medications, etc. she has become wary of me & it breaks my heart, each time I approach to put on her leash & she backs away from me.
We’ve already had a local, vet recommended “expert” come to the house to get her to change this behavior, but it didn’t “take.”
We’re at our wits’ end about this & need some help in this matter.
If you can help us, please let us know.
Our friend, Betty Reuter, of the Humane Society of Lakewood Ranch, who is now working with you and her Labradoodle puppy, recommended you highly.
I’m praying for a miracle.
Miss Ella is an exceptionally lovely being. We need to get her to come on command with consistantly, not just when it suits her.

hi , i have a 6mth shepard and a 8 month maltese, both are smart but the shepard is very selfish, needs to take anything the maltese picks up and play keep away…they mostly play nice but the malese gets possesive sometimes and get vocal…growling. very irritating as it can go on for hours.
interested in your help , i guess we would need to train them together?
which service do you suggest.
shepard also like to eat fresh maltese poop…..
barks at its shadow
both are nearly 90% house broken..but sometimes have accidents ..wish they were more vocal they need out.

Hi Jeff, we spoke prior to Thanksgiving regarding my dog Sasha, the fearful Havanese –4 year old female. My son did bring his new puppy (Alaskan Malamute) home for thanksgiving and it did not go well. Sasha barked, lunged, trembled and actually frothed at the mouth.

We will be arriving in Sarasota around Dec 6 and would like to begin training. You mentioned group and individual.

When would it be convenient for us to arrive.

WE HAVE A 2 YR OLD AMERICAN BULLDOG /CLUMBER SPANIAL WHO WE ADOPTED FROM SARASOTA HUMANE SOCIETY AT 9 WEEKS OLD .HIS NAME IS PATCH. HE IS MOSTLY AMERICAN BULLDOG. HE WAS BORN THERE & TAKEN FROM HIS MOM AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. HE ALSO WAS NUTERED AT 8 WEEKS . HE IS A GREAT DOG & WE LOVE HIM DEARLY. HIS ONLY BIG FLAW IS THAT HE IS AGGRESSIVE TOWARDS OTHER DOGS{HAIR STANDS UP ON BACK,GROWLING ,LUNGES TOWARDS THEM}. ONCE HE KNOWS THEM HE IS BETTER. WE HAVE TWO OTHER DOGS AT HOME,ONE MY SON FOUND AS A STRAY WHEN HE WAS AT FSU. HE BROUGHT HIM HOME WHEN HE GRADUATED & IS LIVING WITH US. THIS DOG IS PART CHIHUAHUA & DACHSHUND & BROUGHT HOME WITH HIM SOME BAD HABITS{BARKING AT EVEYONE,AT OTHER DOGS ETC.}. WE DO NOT KNOW IF THIS IS PART OF PATCH’S BHAVIOR OR NOT. HE IS IN A BASIC TRAINING CLASS & HAS IMPROVED ALOT BUT HE CAN BE VERY STUBBORN & NOT LISTEN. WE WOULD LIKE TO DO AT AN HOUR WITH YOU SO YOU CAN EVALUATE HIM & GIVE US SOME GUIDANCE. I have a new Shih Tzu from South Florida Shih Tzu rescue. She is between 1 and 2 yrs old. She is doing very well in many ways, with potty training, walking on a leash, getting along with my 10 year old Lhasa. Our biggest problem is that she snaps and nips when she feels nervous. Do you feel in home training or group classes would be better for her? I love her and want her to be the best dog she can be!
