Daily Drop Off & we Train is an opportunity for your dog to be taught basic to advanced skills. With your busy schedule, it can be hard to find the necessary time to work with your dog. These sessions are arranged on an individual basis. Please call to discuss these options. 941-915-8181.. When you pick up your Pet K9, Jeffery or Mark will go over what was taught and how you can build on it at home.
When you drop off your dog for Board & Train, please remember to bring enough dog food to cover your dog’s visit. A NYLON OR LEATHER COLLAR & Leash ON YOUR DOG WITH HIS TAGS. Hi
I have a 2 yr old Samoyed who is pretty wild. I also have 4 yr old twins, one of whom has special needs. We do a lot of therapy in the house but I find my Samoyed, Happy, is very distracting. He either is running around chewing on toys or jumping up on counters getting things to eat or chew on..or..if I put him in a room he barks incessantly. Those are the 2 main issues. A third issue is running out the door if given the opportunity.
Just wondering if you think there is any way you would be able to help with these issues if we brought him and let him train and board. Also wondering the cost. His behavior really impacts our home environment. He is a pretty smart dog..we just haven’t had the time to train him with all we are doing with my child. Thanks so much for any input and would love to hear from you.
Julie
Hi Julie,
We can help, Our drop & train is very effective. However your Samoyed will still need to have an outlet for energy release after training.
I sent you a private email.
Thank you for your interest,
Sincerely,

Hi,
I bought a french mastiff from Petland (first mistake). At 6 mos she was showing aggression with me and intense fear towards everything (the front door, plastic bags, the creak of a chair) and was subsequently spayed and put on Prozac. The vet told me at that time I would have my hands full. She actually shaped up and I didn’t have any more issues with her and she was tapered off the Prozac. Fast forward 2 years, my boyfriend and I moved in together in Sept. and he has a greyhound. We followed the vet’s recommendations for getting them adjusted, but my mastiff ended up attacking his greyhound. The greyhound wound up with 19 stitches and she didn’t have a mark. Ever since she has been completely belligerent towards me and everyone else. She was put back on Prozac and we now keep the dogs as separated as possible. However, the Prozac doesn’t seem to be working and she’s not as aggressive, but she refuses to listen to me, and growls at everyone else within range. I’m at my wits end. The vet recommended a training service that was $4000, which is way out of my price range. Other more affordable places have said that they don’t think she is trainable. I don’t want to put her down, but I don’t want anyone to get hurt either (she’s already bitten my boyfriend twice). Do you think she’s trainable, and if so can you give me an estimate of what the cost might be?
Thanks so much,
Kristin
Kristin, I can meet with you and your dog in a private lesson at the Korral – $125.00.. and give my opinon. This is not un common in the Brazilan Bull Mastiff. The English ones usually don’t have these temperment issues.
Let me know,
Jeffery & Rocko

I recently have bought a siberian husky. He loves people, gets along with everyone, how ever when ever he sees another dog he barks widly at them. I am not sure if this is some form of agression or playfulness? But it looks like he does want to go after them, can you train him so he doesnt do this type of behavior? Thanks…
Hi Mark,
Thanks for the super first Agility class last Saturday! Rocky and I had such a good time, and appreciated your patient, positive teaching style. You made it such fun. We also enjoyed seeing how you worked with the other dogs and people – gentle and upbeat wins the day (or the dog!).
If you have a minute, please check out my article, Aglity!, on Rocky’s website – listed above, probably – but it’s http://www.rockymybordercollie.com. Happy to promote K9 Korral in the article and with a link.

Hello! My name is Katie and I was looking on your site and was
interested in your training program. I have a 5 almost 6 month old puppy
named Hunter and he is doing well in training class but not as well as
I had hoped. I am going to be a dog trainer myself in a month for the
store Petsmart, and Hunter was purchased as my training dog. I thought
he would be a little better at this level we are at but he isn’t. He
knows sit and lay down, and paw but only when a treat is in front of his
face. He has been in training classes for 3 weeks and he is 100% potty
trained. His biggest thing is barking at other dogs and jumping to
play. Now of course this is normal puppy stuff but unfortunately he is
expected by many to be fully trained in a month in a half. I have been
working with him for over 2 months now and just not reaching his goals.
Sorry to bore you with all his information, anyways I didn’t see
rates on your site. I am sure they are very high as well as every other
2 week dog training program being very expensive but moving along how does your training work?
is it a board and train? if so how much is it and how long? And is there a payment
option?
Thank you for your time

Hey guys, it’s been a while since Maggie and I were in training. I have a new adopted son. He’s only with me part time for now. He’s disabled and has numerous behavioral issues. I would like to have him evaluated and start him in a board and train class. I don’t believe that right now putting him in class would be beneficial to anyone.
The training that I had with Maggie was so great. I knew you were the right people to help me with my new big bundle of energy.
Thanks,

Hi my name is Lisa,
I have 3 dogs; a 15 y.o. male sheltie, 3 y.o. maltese and 6 mos. old Sheltie female. I am writing you regarding my 6 mos. old and to find out if you have any classes for us. She is a high energy, spirited girl, a little “shy” and startles at a few things; I have brought her into all different situations since we got her at 10 wks knowing the breed can be shy and startle easy. I am looking for help w basic commands, as well as the most worrysome (but not uncommon of the sheltie) chasing moving objects; she gets very excited and wants to herd anything that moves quickly.
Please email me with any classes or situations that would work for her and I.
Thanks
Lisa
We have an 8th month old Old English Bulldoggie. He is a brute with our other dogs. He grabs onto their collars and forces them to walk where he wants to. He gobbles up their treats and is a bully. He comes when we call him when he feels like it, not when we want him too.
We do love him and he can be very sweet however all of this has to stop.
I have a pitbull mix that will be a year old in December. He’s a good boy when I’m home and around the house. He sits, lays down, and stays. He does have a jumping problem though. But as soon as I leave the house he tears and chews everything up.I don’t like leaving him in a cage when I’m not home or sleeping because I want him to be able to protect the house but I can’t afford him destroying everything. How long do you think it would take you to break these bad habits, because being a college student I don’t really have a lot of extra cash and I’m trying to figure out how much it would cost.
my cousing is very good in giving dog trainings, my favorite puppy was trained by him~”"
Hello, I have a 14 month toy poodle(he grew too tall), but we are having a hard time housebreaking him. Do you have any training for that?
I’m looking to train my dog to use the bathroom outside all the time. Also, he runs away if he’s without a leash and jumps on people when they come over.

Hi
I have a mixed terrier puppy about 8 months old. He is a sweet and loving
dog, but has no manners at all. He is 50 lbs. He jumps up on everbody
and is very much in need of basic obedience training. I would be interested
in your “drop off and train for 4 hours program”. Would like to know
when I can bring him in.
Pls reply.
Thank you.
Hello,
Late last month I adopted a 3 1/2 month old Sheltie. She is very smart and it shows well. She has only been here in her new home for a little over a week, and while I am happy to see SOME progress, it’s no where near as much as I’d like to see. She struggles with obedience for basic commands, she will not “come”, “sit”, or “stay”, she constantly gets her nose into my cat’s belongings and other furniture I want her to respect and stay away from, and my biggest issue is potty training. I take her out every 2 hours and praise her when she goes outside, but every now and then she will go in her crate. I would like a very fast and affordable solution to all this, for I do not have enough time to commit to training her myself.
Thanks,
- Brittany
